Chat online to University students!

Developed for students aged 16 or over to help with HE and student life-related questions. The Future Quest website will soon be hosting online messaging with current students from UWE and University of Bristol. Students can send messages on this safe platform to find out about university life. Parents are also welcome to use this as a way of finding out more about what it’s like to be a student in Bristol.

Summer Transition Event for Year 13's

2nd and 3rd July 2019

Get Ready for Uni and Higher Education! 
A chance for year 13 Future Quest students to experience an overnight stay in university accommodation and develop skills to support their transition to Higher Education.  Students will have the chance to learn about: 

  • Money and finances
  • Building confidence when meeting new people
  • Improving academic skills
  • Cooking on a budget
  • Looking after yourself at uni
  • Results day and clearing

Campus visits for Parents and Carers

Come and see for yourself! Various dates, April – June 2019 
We would like to welcome parents and carers of Future Quest students to visit UWE Bristol (Frenchay Campus) or the University of Bristol. Children and young people are welcome too. We want to give parents any information and insight they may need to help support their young people when making choices around Higher Education. 

Each visit includes: 

  • Refreshments 
  • Introduction to the university and the support services available to students 
  • Campus tour 
  • Informal chat with current university students
