In this new workshop, designed to boost the creative confidence of KS3 students, content produced by university students will be used as a hub of inspiration for young artists. The Future Quest ‘Exploring Creative’ workshop will encourage secondary school students to produce poetry, collages, drawings, or any other form of art using the university students’ artwork as their catalyst.

University students chosen to be a part of this workshop will have their pieces presented in schools around the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area. Students submitting work are encouraged to explore a wide range of creative outlets, including poetry, painting, photography, pottery or something else entirely. All work submitted must be inspired by Future Quest idea of ‘Explore, Plan, Become’.

Future Quest are welcoming submissions from UWE and UoB students on creative courses from now until the 1st of August. Beyond that, we will be organising an online exhibition for the work of the chosen talented artists, where others can view the gallery of impressive work with the click of a button. This programme is a great opportunity to showcase the variety of artistic forms that higher education has to offer.

If you are interested in submitting a piece of work, contact future.quest@uwe.ac.uk. The subject line for this submission should be Future Quest – Exploring Creative Workshop.
