Led by UWE Bristol and funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), Future Quest is all about encouraging young people to get into HE, where participation is lower than expected.
Through the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP), the Government aims to double the number of young people going into HE by 2020, increase the number of those from ethnic minority groups by 20%, and address the under-representation of young men.
Here in Bristol, we’re bringing together HE providers, schools, colleges, employers and partners, to help meet those aims.
We are UWE Bristol, University of Bristol, City of Bristol College, South Gloucestershire and Stroud College, South Bristol Youth, Bristol Learning City and the Local Enterprise Partnership.
By working together, we can deliver local, evidence-based solutions that meet the needs of young people.
We aim to:
Our seven components for successful progression to HE
We’ll judge our success by an increase in the number of young people going into HE, the effectiveness of the programme, and how young people’s choices are widened and improved.
We’ve designed a range of programmes to help young people grow their skills and get into HE.Find out more
